Maqsim cleans all upholstered furniture, including sofas and love seats, sectionals, dining and accent chairs, ottomans, fabric headboards, office chairs, and commercial seating. We work with all fabric types: microfibre, velvet, linen, cotton, chenille, synthetic blends, and delicate or antique textiles.
A standard sofa or love seat takes one to two hours. Sectionals and larger pieces take two to three hours. Steam-cleaned furniture requires four to six hours of drying time before use. Dry-cleaned furniture is ready almost immediately. We provide a time estimate during the free assessment.
Yes. Maqsim applies a Scotchgard-certified stain guard treatment after every furniture cleaning. This protective coating creates an invisible barrier on upholstery fibres, repelling liquids, resisting staining, and extending the time between professional cleanings. We recommend it for all fabric furniture, especially in homes with children or pets.
Every 12 to 18 months for most homes. Households with children, pets, or allergy sufferers should clean every 6 to 12 months. Commercial furniture in offices, restaurants, and waiting rooms should be cleaned every 3 to 6 months. A stain guard treatment after each clean extends the interval.

Maqsim offers three methods: dry cleaning (completely moisture-free, no drying time, eliminates bacteria and dust mites), steam cleaning (heat and suction with anti-allergen rinse, removes visible stains), and UV cleaning (ultraviolet light permanently destroys germs and bacteria at a cellular level — the same technology used on surgical equipment). We recommend the best method based on your needs.
Yes. UV cleaning is completely dry and chemical-free. It uses short-wave ultraviolet radiation to permanently destroy germs, bacteria, viruses, and microorganisms. The same technology is used to sterilize surgical equipment in hospitals. It leaves no residue and is safe for infants, children, and allergy sufferers.
Dry cleaning takes 30 to 45 minutes with zero drying time. Steam cleaning takes 45 to 60 minutes, followed by 2 to 4 hours of drying time. UV cleaning takes 30 to 60 minutes with no drying time. All methods are performed in place — no moving your mattress.
Yes. Both dry cleaning and UV cleaning effectively eliminate bed bugs and their eggs. The dry cleaning system destroys bed bugs through mechanical action and anti-bacterial compounds. UV short-wave radiation is lethal to all microorganisms including bed bugs, dust mites, and viruses.

Dry-cleaned carpets are ready within 1 hour. Steam-cleaned carpets require 4 to 12 hours of drying time depending on humidity, ventilation, and carpet thickness. Opening windows or using fans speeds up drying after steam cleaning.
